The TS Voyager is a spotting scope and telescope particularly useful if you need something that is as compact as possible. It minimizes the loss of image quality that automatically comes when trying to make a compact instrument. As a result image sharpness is retained on a quite good level allowing for performance rare in instruments of that size.

The instrument weighs only 780g and is only 26cm long. It will fit into your travelling luggage easily, even for airline travelling.

The TS Voyager has no false colour because of its Maksutov optical design.

Nature Observing
The Voyager can be attached to most camera tripods using the standard 1/4" thread. It is light enough to take along even on hiking trips in the mountains.

The instrument offers a very high magnification for a spotting scope of that size. Focus range is from about 4m to infinity.

No matter whether you are an experienced birdwatcher or just enjoy using an optical aid when you are out in the nature, the Voyager is an ideal companion.

Target Shooting
Target shooters frequently have to use spotting scopes to check their aim on long distance targets. However, often they have very limited room for their spotting scopes. The Voyager is so compact and fits on so small a tripod that it often fits on banquettes where most other spotting scopes won't fit.

Astronomy
The TS Voyager can also be used for astronomical observing. Images of the moon will be filled with detail, as if you were flying over the moon yourself. The rings of Saturn are also within reach of this compact instrument.

With 70mm aperture it's deep sky performance is a bit limited, however dozens of fainft objects are within reach as well!

With the optional 1.25" adaptor you can also use standard astronomical eyepieces.

The Orginal - Zoom Eyepiece is largely suitable for eyeglass wearers. Most of the field of view can be seen even then. The eyepiece can be removed.	1.25 Eyepieces - we also offer a 1.25" adaptor for the Voyager. Then you can use standard 1.25" eyepieces with this instrument.	Carry case for safe storage and transport. The case has a shoulder strap.

Photography
We offer an optional camera adaptor for SLR cameras. Adaptors are available for most common SLR or DSLR cameras. Then the Voyager resembles a compact tele lens with 525mm focal length at f/7.5.

The Skywatcher Maksutov 80mm is an ideal entry-level telescope. It is equally well suited for beginners and for advanced amateurs looking for a compact telescope for travelling.

Terrestrial Use:
The Maksutov design offers a sharp image with at the same time very compact dimensions. Contrary to other small spotting scopes you will not suffer from false colour near features of strong contrast. With the proper eyepieces magnifications up to about 150x are possible with this powerful instrument.

Astronomical Use:
Many objects within our solar system are visible in splendid detail. You can view the craters and ridges on the moon, details on the main planets, distant comets and many other objects.

Ouside our solar system several hundred star clusters, galaxies and gas nebulae are within reach of this telescope. With the wonderful portability of this telescope you will be able to take it to dark observing sites - you will be surprised how much can be seen with a telescope of that size under perfect conditions!

Photographical Use:
The Skywatcher Maksutov 80mm resembles a powerful tele-lens with a focal length of 1000mm and a focal ratio of 1:12.5. The internal focusing mechanism allows you to get focus for objects from 3m to infinite distance.

The TS FA 1 camera adapter and a T-ring are needed to attach most common SLR or digital SLR cameras. The Maksutov fits directly on a camera tripod.

The Skywatcher Maksutov tube 80mm can be mounted on most astronomical mounts as well as on camera tripods.

The tube is attached to the tripod using a metal rail with a 1/4" standard thread. Considering the low weight of the tube, even with an attached camera, this is more than sufficient for a safe connection.

TS Mak 102 - Aperture 102mm - Focal Length 1400mm

The compact but nonetheless powerful TS Maksutov-Cassegrain is one of the most versatile compact telescopes we know. Despite its compact dimensions the Mak offers a great optical performance.

Observing with the TS Mak:
Due to the high optical quality the TS Mak will show you astonishing results at lunar and planetary observations. You will see tiny details on the face of the moon (little craterlets wherever you look). When conditions allow you will recognize the Cassini division in Saturn's rings.

On Deep-Sky the comparably large light-gathering area (more than twice that of a 70mm telescope!) will reveal details otherwise invisible in such compact telescopes. Well over 1,000 objects can be observed within and without our milky way.

Additionally, the sharp and contrasty optics make this Maksutov-Cassegrain very well suited for terrestrial use. 102mm of aperture will still show you plenty of details even in semi-darkness.

	Photography: At the same time the TS Mak 102 resembles a powerful tele lens with an enormous 1400mm focal length. You will be able to take stunning pictures of distant objects, e.g. a bird nesting in a tree. With a sufficiently sturdy equatorial mount astro-imaging is also possible. 	Mounts and Tripods: The TS Mak 102 has the standard 1/4" camera tripod thread. You can then attach it to any sufficiently sturdy camera tripod. One example is shown left: TS Mak on FT02 tripod. Camera tripods It is of course also possible to attach the telescope to various astronomical mounts. We offer suitable mounting plates for most common mounts.

	Accessories: The TS Mak 102 has a 1.25" visual back that allows you to use most standard astronomical accessories. Available accessories are diagonals, eyepieces, filters, adapters, ... The primary mirror focusing mechanism offers a very large focus travel. You can use even many exotic accessories which require a long back focus distance.


The meniscus lens is coated to suppress reflections and ghost images. All optical surfaces are precisely figured for high quality images.	Focusing is done by sliding the primary mirror inside the telescope. As a result the 1.25" visual back could be fixed to the telescope so that it can safely hold heavy accessories. The depicted erecting prism and eyepiece are not included in the scope of delivery.

The OMC 140 is a high-quality, high-performance Maksutov-Cassegrain of European make. It is produced in the UK.

It combines quite a large aperture, compactness, portability and extremely good optical performance.

We sell only the Deluxe variant with 1/6 lambda optics and HILUX coating!

Light Gathering Power

The instrument collects 2.4x more light than a 90mm Maksutov-Cassegrain. It has almost twice the light gathering power of a 100mm Maksutov and a respectable 22% gain when compared to a 120mm Mak.

This means that the OMC 140 is not only suited for planetary observations, but also for Deep-Sky (galaxies, gas nebulae). Globular clusters become more than just fuzzy specks of light, they are already easily dissolved into single stars in the outer regions.

You will notice first details in many galaxies, some (like the Whirlpool Galaxy M 51) will show you hints of their spiral arms. When using 2" accessories you will reach fields of view of up to 1.3°.

Of course, the OMC is also a highly recommendable planetary telescope. The moon and the planets will surprise you with ever more details whenever you look at them. This is mostly due to the telescope's extremely high contrast and image sharpness.

You can use many additional accessories like focal reducers or binoviewers due to the smooth focusing by moving the primary mirror, which essentially means that you can put the focus very far out.

Obviously, the OMC 140 makes for a wonderful travel scope (or even a guiding scope for astronomical photography). It's ease of use also make it a special recommendation for beginners.

Each OMC has hand-corrected optics for best performance.

The OMC is a Gregory Maksutov with an aspheric primary mirror. As a result correction and image quality is improved compared with simpler Maksutov designs.
